Edouard Lagourgue

Former president of Solidarités International (2013/2018), I have been involved in the associative and humanitarian life for a long time. From my first commitments in Afghanistan in the 1980s to my recent involvement with the Institution Nationale des Invalides, I seek to do my part in the necessary solidarity that makes life between people more equitable and thus contributes to a fairer world. Connecting our responsibilities as citizens, those of our leaders, and the state of the world with the systemic challenges we face, is an urgent task to which I am happy to contribute alongside the committee of experts of Défis Humanitaires and Alain Boinet.
